Dorian (he/they) is a designer with an interest in gameplay systems, NPC-behavior, combat and narrative design. Personal projects include explorations into creating behavior with blueprints and behavior trees, developing short narrative experiences, and self-teaching C++.Â
As a QA Tester with Demiurge Studios, their work has included testing for mobile and PC titles, including Marvel Puzzle Quest and Riot's 2XKO. As part of an integrated QA team, they've been lucky to have direct communication with designers, artists, and engineers, which has taught them a lot about development processes and ways to improve their own design practice.
Dorian is passionate about project organization, communication, and building community. Prior to working in QA, Dorian's work included community leadership on their college campus, as well as retail/food service positions going back to 2016.

Outside of work, Dorian plays a lot of games, with their fallbacks including Stardew Valley, Deep Rock Galactic, and most any point-and-click adventure or detective-inspired game. When away from a computer, he's probably hanging out with his Great Dane, Mint, or doing crafts including linoleum print-making or crocheting.
